Description

There is a rich wine culture in the Veneto region in northeastern Italy, where the famous wine region Valpolicella is located, including the renowned area of Amarone della Valpolicella. The many years of experience of the Cielo family in winemaking and the rich vineyards of Colli Berici have given rise to the wine CENT’ANNI Cielo Amarone. This red wine is produced from a blend of classic grape varieties grown in the region: Corvina and Rondinella. The grapes undergo a drying and shriveling process for 3-4 months on wooden racks. This process creates an incredibly rich and complex wine with powerful flavors of forest fruits. The wine has the potential for relatively long aging.

Color: Deep red
Aroma: Ripe red fruits, hints of spices, sugared orange peels, wintery forest, and wood.
Taste: Full-bodied and velvety, with flavors of black cherries, dark chocolate truffle, coffee, and black pepper. The wine has a long finish, a rich body, and depth. Recommended to serve at a temperature of 14-16 degrees Celsius. This wine pairs exceptionally well with meat dishes and mature cheeses.
