Teeling 32 Year Old Rum Finish 1988 - A one-time 32-year-old whiskey that underwent a finishing process in rum casks, this vintage whiskey was produced in 1988. It is a special and limited release created as part of the Teeling Vintage series, where exceptional wines contribute to the ultra-long maturation process of the whiskey.

The whiskey is distilled from carefully selected casks from Teeling's archives and then split-aged in ex-Bourbon American oak casks. After an extended maturation period, it is transferred to rum casks from the Caribbean for a final finishing, adding an additional and unique layer of character.

The later maturation process results in complex notes of nuts, dried fruits, sweet spices, and impressive creaminess. The finish is long and impressive, with lingering hints of demerara sugar.
